    From These Hills

    I will have a painting in the William King Museum's biennial From These Hills: Contemporary Art from the Southern Appalachian Highlands. The William King Museum is a really great regional museum in Abingdon VA. I'm really happy to be showing there and representing the great contemporary art being made in Appalachia. You can see the painting I'm exhibiting here, but if you get a chance come on down for the opening and say "Hi".

  • 2016 Dogwood Regional Fine Arts Exhibition

    2016 Dogwood Regional Fine Arts Exhibition

    Two of my paintings have been accepted to the 2016 Dogwood Regional Fine Arts Exhibition in Knoxville, TN.

    The exhibition runs from June 2-30, 2017 at their gallery at 123 W. Jackson Ave.

  • Solo Show in Nashville

    I will be displaying some new work at Channel to Channel gallery in Nashville, TN from May 13-June 22. There will be a reception on May 12 from 6-9pm.

    Channel to Channel is located at 507A Hagen Ave in Nashville, TN.

  • Frutos Latinos 2016

    I will have a couple of paintings shown in Knoxville as part of Hispanic Heritage Month this year. It is a show called Frutos Latinos organized through HoLa Hora Latina. The exhibition begins September 3 at Casa HoLa in the Emporium Building at 100 S. Gay St in Knoxville. There will also be a showing beginning September 15 at the Knoxville Museum of Art at 1050 Worlds Fair Park Dr. in Knoxville.

    It's very exciting to be a part of this showcase of contemporary art being made by Latino artists here in Appalachia.

  • Cherry Bounce

    I have been invited to take part in Cherry Bounce a show about Appalachian Artists and American Elections. Please check out the page as there is lots of information there about the show and participating artists including me. The exhibition is curated by Eric Drummond Smith a political science professor at UVA-Wise.

    The show is at the William King Museum of Art in Abingdon, VA. from September 2, 2016-January 15, 2017 with a reception on September 1, 2016.

  • Viewpoints 2016

    I will have a painting as part of Viewpoints 2016 at Aljira: A Center for Contemporary Art in Newark, NJ from June 2-30. I am excited to be a part of this international juried show of contemporary abstract work. The exhibition is sponsored by Studio Montclair an amazing arts organization in New Jersey.
